Renowned opera singer died at Davos
March 10, 2007 – 10:10 pmIn Davos at the 88 th year of life died Swiss opera singer Ernst Haefliger. Born in the city, Haefliger began his career in the Zurich Opera Theater. From 1952 to 1972, he was a leading lyric tenor Berlin Opera and for many years taught music at the University of Munich. Particular recognition criticism led by a party evangelists in “Passion” by Bach, reported Radio Freedom.
